Founder and current owner Brad Keating has been around the food industry his entire life.  His father was the plant manager of the M&M Mars manufacturing plant in Hackettstown, NJ.  After graduating college, Brad began his career in sales, selling food ingredients primarily to the baking industry.  During this time, Brad developed a strong vision of how an ingredient business should be run.  He decided to strike out on his own and began a food ingredients distribution business originating out of his home in New Jersey. 

 

The focus of KB Ingredients from the start, was to give customers the product/package/logistic that made their operations run more efficiently. KB would always go the extra yard to ensure satisfaction and build loyalty. Success with this concept encouraged investment in a facility and processing equipment located in the International Free Trade Zone in Budd Lake, NJ.  The entrepreneurial spirit and vision that began KB are today, the guiding principles for all KB employees.
